THE JOHN MASEFIELD SOCIETY
was formed in 1992 to stimulate the appreciation of, and interest in, the life and works of John Masefield (Poet Laureate 1930-1967). The Society maintains an archive and library located in Ledbury, the Herefordshire market town of his birth, and holds various public events in addition to publishing a journal and occasional papers.
